Hugh Dunkerley has been a Gregory Award winner and a Hawthornden Fellow. In 2007 a selection of his work appeared in Oxford Poets 2007 (Carcanet Press). He is currently West Sussex Poet Laureate, teaches English and Creative Writing at the University of Chichester and reviews for a number of literary journals. Hare is his first full collection.
