We’re crossing the river again in June – to hold an evening at the Ram Jam (behind the Grey Horse in Kingston). This event is in collaboration with Kingston University and there will be extended open mic spots to showcase undergraduate and MA students’ work, plus guest performance poet Kayo Chingonyi and music from local band Nomi & The Points.

Rhythm & Muse hosts a special celebration of the life and work of writer and poet Aeronwy Thomas (1943-2009).
Fellow Words poets – Frances White, Beryl Myers and Annie Taylor – will read a selection of their poems, along with other friends and family.
Singer-songwriter Bernadette Reed will perform her lyrical songs around the poetry. 
Guest host this month will be Russell Thompson.
All proceeds from the evening will go to the King’s College Hospital Charity Fund.

R&M is off on tour again – this time to the Rose Theatre Studio – as part of the Think in Kingston Festival.

Featuring established performance poets Francesca Beard and A F Harrold

Due to illness, Hannah Rose Tristram is unable to play tonight, but Tim Fulker and Nomi Helfensteller (Nomi and the Points) will infuse the evening with their own blend of mellow acoustic music. A reminder that summer is just around the corner!

Tickets can be booked  in advance at www.kingston.gov.uk, but will also be available on the door.
Book early to avoid disappointment!
